We Knocked Down Walls...and it was Fun!

October 16th, 2025 | by Keaton Smith

We love where we work for so many reasons...it's in Richmond, Vermont, which is just a great place to be. It's a mile away from some of the best mountain bike and running trails on earth, it's an amazing community with the kindest, most welcoming people, and, our physical office used to be a garment (aka underwear) factory which is a good fact to have on hand.

The big question mark for us, though, was: will we outgrow the space? We ship all out bottles from our onsite warehouse and we knew at some point, we wouldn't have any more space for the volume of bottles we'd want to store to be ready to ship to all of you lovely people!

Sam Noel, our operations manager, researched options for months (really, years). Would we move our warehouse offsite to Williston, VT? Would we work with a 3rd party shipping group? Would we make it work where we are?

Bottle delivery day is always a wild day...all hands on deck unloading the truck!

Truthfully, we didn't want to move our warehouse to Williston - we didn't want our fulfillment team to be by themselves in a totally different town.

So, when the opportunity arose to work with another business in our building to take over their space as our warehouse, we were over the moon!

Grow our warehouse? Check. Keep the warehouse in Richmond? Check. Team is all together under one roof? Check!

The only thing that remained was to make the new space warehouse-ready. Which meant demolishing most of the walls to create one, massive warehouse ready for boxes and boxes and boxes of Bivos!

We looked into hiring a crew to help, but we realized we actually could just do it ourselves and, if we all pitched in, we could likely finish it pretty quickly!

Personally, I was excited to knock down walls :) So, we assembled a crew, got our safety gear on, and started demo-ing!

Caitlin made sure it was documented, and the pictures are just too great. Enjoy the shots of our crew knocking down walls. And, don't worry, we cleaned up too! It was a pretty great day :) And we couldn't be more excited and grateful for the growth and love that has gotten us here.
